Traian Rotariu, emeritus professor of Sociology at the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj, passed away on 28th December 2021. He left behind an outstanding oeuvre sociology, quantitative social research, and demography, as well a legacy institution-building that materialized creation Faculty Social Work 2001 Centre for Population Studies, same university, 2002. served editor later advisory board member Studia Sociologia Romanian Journal Studies.
